International Film Festival UP TO 21 are open to all filmmakers who are 21 years old or under at the time of completing their film.

The festival was founded in 1983,on the initiative of the Federation of Independent Filmmakers and gained recognition in the environment of young filmmakers.

The Festival furthers the art and craft of filmmaking by inspiring and championing the work of filmmakers, and all artists who use the language of film and television to tell a story.

The films will be evaluated by a professional jury. The works selected by the pre-jury for competition will be presented at open screenings in the presence of the creators the audience and the jury. Screenings will be held in nine districts of Warsaw.

An author and organiser of numerous events connected with this genre, for example the Festival of Children and Teenage Amateur Films, which later became known as Up To 21. He has been the Director of the Indepedent Filmmakers Federation for over 20 years now. Moreover, he invented and organised the international film diploma festival Young Cinema Art. There aren’t many festivals, that wouldn’t want Him as Jury Member.
